Maldivian nationals are granted an on-arrival visa when travelling to Sri Lanka.
Effective 25 May 2026 onwards, an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is mandatory for almost all foreign nationals (including Maldives) visiting Sri Lanka. ETA for Maldives will be processed free of charge.
