Statement by the Government of Maldives condemning the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque led by the Israeli Minister of National Security 

The Government of Maldives strongly condemns the violent attacks carried out today in the West Bank City of Jenin by Israeli forces, resulting in the deaths of five people, including a minor and injuries to several other innocent civilians. The Government and people of Maldives express heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the Israeli aggression and wish a swift recovery for the injured.

The Government of Maldives condemns the storming and vandalism of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Khartoum, Sudan, in addition to sabotaging the residences of Saudi staff working in the embassy which violate the sanctity and safety of the headquarters of diplomatic missions and their employees.
