The Government of the Republic of Maldives strongly condemns the Houthi’s group’s targeting of civilian and economic facilities in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the injury of number of innocent civilians including women and children.
The Maldives considers these attacks a blatant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a serious threat to regional peace, security and stability.
The Maldives reiterates its solidarity with the Government and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia and reaffirms its support for all measures undertaken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
