The Maldives hopes that this decision will support Syria’s recovery and reconstruction efforts and contribute to improving the lives and livelihoods of the Syrian people.
The Maldives expresses its support for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Syria, as well as for a peaceful, inclusive, Syrian-owned and Syrian-led process that fulfils the legitimate aspirations of its people.
