The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam sends a message of felications to the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, the Rt. Hon. Yvette Cooper, on the occasion of the official birthday of His Majesty King Charles III, which marks the the National Day of the United Kingdom.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the People of the Republic of Maldives, and on my own behalf, I would like to extend warm felicitations to the Government and the people of the United Kingdom, as you celebrate the auspicious occasion of the Official Birthday of His Majesty King Charles III, which marks the National Day of the United Kingdom.
I remain committed to working closely with you to further enhance the longstanding and historic ties of friendship and cooperation between the Maldives and the United Kingdom.
