The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam, has sent a letter of felicitations to Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, His Excellency Dr. S. Jaishankar, on the occasion of their 80th Independence Day.
In her letter, Foreign Minister Iruthisham extended warm greetings to Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar, the Government and the friendly people of India, on the joyous occasion.
She also commended the Government of India on the historic milestone and conveyed sincere appreciation for the Government of India’s assistance towards the socioeconomic development of the Maldives.
Foreign Minister Iruthisham also reiterated the Government of Maldives commitment to continue working together with the Government of India to further revitalize the six decade old longstanding partnership between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
