The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam has sent warm greetings and good wishes to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, His Excellency Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, on the occasion of the National Day of Singapore.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to extend warm felicitations and sincere, good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Singapore, on the joyous occasion of the 61st National Day of the Republic of Singapore.
Maldives deeply values its longstanding friendship with Singapore, which has been built on mutual respect, trust and constructive cooperation. I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to further strengthen our bilateral partnership and explore new opportunities for collaboration in areas of shared interest.
I remain confident that the close ties of friendship between our two countries will continue to grow, bring lasting benefits to our people.
