The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Maldives, Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam sends a message of felicitations to the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, His Excellency Sean Sobers, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
"On behalf of the Government, the people of the Republic of Maldives and on my own behalf, I would like to extend warm felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Trinidad and Tobago, on the occasion of your Independence Day.
As a fellow Small Island Developing State (SIDS), I hope to work closely with you to further strengthen the existing cooperation between the Maldives and Trinidad and Tobago across areas of mutual interest.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
