At the invitation of the Minister of External Affairs of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Iruthisham Adam, has departed on an Official Visit to New Delhi, India today. This visit marks her first Official Visit abroad in her capacity as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives.
During the visit, Minister Iruthisham is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with her counterpart, Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India. This meeting would provide an opportunity for the Foreign Ministers to review the existing bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries and discuss key issues of mutual interest.
Foreign Minister Iruthisham is accompanied by Additional Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Zuhuree, and Assistant Director, Ms. Aminath Guraisha.
