The newly appointed Non-resident Ambassador of Kosovo to the Maldives, His Excellency Lulzim Pllana paid a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam this morning, following the presentation of his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office earlier today.
Foreign Minister Iruthisham conveyed congratulations to Ambassador Pllana on the presentation of his Letters of Credence to the President of the Maldives and reaffirmed commitment to strengthen cooperation between the Maldives and Kosovo in the years ahead.
Ambassador Lulzim Pllana thanked the Foreign Minister for the kind wishes and expressed readiness to work together to enhance relations across areas of mutual interest including education and tourism during his tenure.
Minister Iruthisham Adam was accompanied by Secretary, Her Excellency Dr. Hala Hameed, Deputy Minister, Ms. Aminath Rana Hussain Shiham, Senior Political Director, Mr. Ahmed Haanee Naeem and Deputy Desk Officer, Ms. Khadeeja Aufiyau.
