The newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of Republic of Austria to the Maldives, His Excellency Dr. Robert Zischg paid a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam, today, following the presentation of his Letter of Credence to the President of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, Minister Iruthisham Adam congratulated Ambassador Dr. Robert Zischg on the presentation of his Letter of Credence to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
During the meeting, the Minister and the Ambassador discussed on various collaborative efforts in areas including education, climate change and trade and enhancing the longstanding bilateral ties between the Maldives and Austria.
Ambassador thanked the Foreign Minister and reassured the Minister of his commitment to elevating Austria’s partnership with the Maldives during his tenure.
